SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY

Tire Clean Up

October 3, 2026 ● 8AM to noon

At the Shamokin Township Municipal Building on Old Reading Road in Stonington.  Shamokin Township is sponsoring a community wide tire clean-up for the residents of Shamokin Township.  No more than 10 tires per household.  Proof of residency required.  Bring your passenger car and light truck tires, 20” Max.

Shamokin Township is relocating the Honor Roll from Route 61 to the township building. The township is looking for any men/women who served in the military. Please contact the township at 570-286-4395 or by email at samtam@ptd.net if you or a family member served in the military either living or deceased. Please include name, branch, and years of service. Thank you!
